Cangrejal Valley in a 4x4 (full day)

An exceptional ride up the Cangrejal river valley experiencing how the local people of the villages live. Awe-inspiring views between the Pico Bonito and Nombre de Dios National Parks will be a constant throughout the entire drive.

From the Omega Lodge we drive in our 4x4  upriver to a farmer village called Rio Viejo. Here three rivers confluence all in one spot to become the Cangrejal river. You will learn about the amazing geological history of the area and how to prepared the famous and delicious Baleadas.  If you speak a bit of Spanish, you can have a conversation with the very friendly locals.

On our way back is optional to take a little walk on a beautiful nature path, finding the perfect spot for a bath in a small crystal-clear river.
